Future Cambodia Fund aims to create awareness by educating and informing young Australians about current issues in the developing world. We encourage young people to engage in activities resulting in positive change, locally and globally.
Global Leaders Program:
The Global Leaders Program is designed to educate and inform young Australians about current issues in the developing world and encourage them to engage in activities resulting in positive change, both locally and globally.
Who
The Global Leaders Program creates opportunities for young people to actively participate in, and contribute to the vision of a world free from poverty.
Where
Global Leaders will work in secondary schools and youth groups in Victoria and across the nation to empower young people by providing an environment where young people can feel like they are making a positive contribution.
What
A Global Leaders speaker will come to your school or group and talk about issues such as poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, trafficking and the underlying issues behind these problems. You will learn about Cambodia, it's history, economic and political situation.
How
After this, you come up with a fundraising idea within your local community. You get to, conceive, plan and implement your ideas. The money you raise will go toward one of Future Cambodia Fund's projects - it's your choice which one.
Get Active!
Imagine the difference you could make. You may even want to come on board as an active volunteer. It is possible for young people to make positive, lasting contributions to the global community. You can develop your skills and knowledge in an environment filled with passionate, committed young leaders.
